My Journey

In my mid-twenties, I checked all the boxes: thriving corporate career, dream engagement, home ownership, financial security – all before 30. The world celebrated me, but inside I was a hot mess feeling disconnected, anxious, and furious at why “having it all” felt so empty.

Right around that same time, I had also become really curious about life. I remember sitting in my living room and randomly coming across a TV show talking about how to live SIMPLY. For some reason, that sparked a curiosity that had me asking those big metaphysical questions like, “what is the purpose of life” and “why am I here.” While I was living “the dream”, I also began fervently studying ALL THINGS spiritual and magickal. I dove into yoga, Reiki, hypnotherapy, Andean shamanism (rooted in my Peruvian birth), and metaphysical studies. Spirit was calling, so I decided to take the plunge. Since corporate life wasn’t doing it for me, I opened my own yoga studio thus was born Sacred Garden Yoga in 2003.

Then everything fell apart. Bank accounts drained, marriage strained, motherhood pressures mounted, debt piled up. A long Dark Night of the Soul hit hard. I raged at God, wondering why a “spiritual person” deserved this. Law of Attraction tools felt useless against deep unconscious sabotage.

What I discovered in the darkness became my greatest gift: shadow work as true alchemy. I had to face insecurities around worth (hello, Chiron in Aries/2nd house), ancestral fears of persecution for being “weird/witchy/goddess/magical” (while loving Jesus), and beliefs that thriving as my full self wasn’t safe.

Saturn’s transits pressed me to restructure: stop undervaluing my mastery, claim my worth, and turn wounds into power. This has been and still is a work in progress. None of this is a “one and done,” “I am forever healed” type process. No healing work is but I was able to take responsibility for my life, rewire some of my subconscious self sabotage, and shed old stories to turn myself around. Business became more aligned, marriage renewed, and life more magickal. And when life becomes challenging, as it always will, I have the resources to manage those seasons better. 

In these heavy times, we must heal ourselves first, not as luxury, but necessity. When we convert personal shadows into sources of strength, we become medicine for the world. This container is born from that fire: my reset into embodied authority, ready to guide you through yours.

  • Born in Peru, she feels the ancestral wisdom and how they related to nature.. which probably explains her love for all that is nature, ritual and ceremony.

  • Is a cat and plant lover. Her whole house is pretty much an altar.

Credentials (in no particular order):

  • Became a Certified Hypnotherapist in 2001.
  • Received training and certification in 2002 for entity-spirit release work.
  • Received her first yoga teacher training certificate in 2002 and received a 2nd one in 2010.
  • Opened Sacred Garden Yoga in Marietta, GA which has been thriving since 2003.
  • Initiated into the Andean Tradition around 2004
  • Became a Reiki Master some time in the early 2000’s and has received countless of attunements since then.
  • Served as a lululemon ambassador in 2010/2011
  • Voted best yoga instructor in the “Best Self Magazine Best of 2013 Contest.”
  • Has lead several retreats to the mountains of N. Georgia, North Carolina, Costa Rica and Peru.
  • Principle Trainer and creator of Sacred Garden Yoga’s “Yoga of the Heart” yoga teacher training program.
  • Many trainings in astrology & high magick from 2015 – ongoing.
  • High Priestess and founder of SGY Mystery School – 2023
